Julia Moran Studio creates whimsical watercolors with an emphasis on Pacific Northwest aquatic fauna with an affinity for ethereal palettes and under appreciated subjects.
Julia grew up in Western Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a degree
in biology. Oregon held inspiration from grasslands to coastlines. Today combining her interests in
biology and the desire to paint resulting in whimsical nature watercolors.
